My religion, Soka Gakkai International (SGI), is a Japanese Buddhist organisation promoting world peace. I grew up in Soka Gakkai Singapore (SGS), where I attended and contributed to meetings by sharing the teachings of Nichiren Buddhism in both Mandarin and English.

SSA gives me multiple opportunities to emcee during meetings and take part in arts and cultural events, which fulfilled my desires as a performer. These opportunities have allowed me to constantly polish myself as a diplomatic and enterprising individual and leader.

I recently graduated from SP's Student Division (SPSD), where I would take part in planning our weekly campus dialogues, monthly institution meetings and other events involving youth. I was also a Senior Contact-in-Charge (SCIC) who is responsible for notifying members of meetings and events, and encouraging them via dialogues.
