Comperes, meaning 'Master of Ceremonies' in French.

 

Despite its classy title, Comperes is home to a wild and fun-loving bunch. Through meeting my fellow club members and hosting more than ten events, I discovered my true self — an extrovert who enjoys basking in the spotlight both on and off stage.​

After receiving the role as the club's president in Year 2, I took over the EXCO duties and conducted training sessions for juniors. My presidency pushed me to trust my leadership, as my EXCO team was very tight-knit with only two other members who stayed till the end.

My journey in SP Comperes taught me to always remember my pride as an emcee and the power we hold with a mic in hand, but to never forget the heart of hosting — POA. The Performers, Organisers and Audience of every event.
