CHAPTER 1: ACTION, CUT

I have completed various media projects under Singapore Polytechnic's Diploma in Creative Writing for Television and New Media (DTVM), where I pursued my passion in visual storytelling, scriptwriting and video production. I was also able to polish my skills in acting, story pitching and ideation.

Scriptwriting

A script titled Pet Precaution I worked on with a classmate for The Noose, a local comedy series. Masks and animals play a big role in this episode.

An episode titled Girls and Guys on Valentine's Day for a new season of The Leon Theory, a teen comedy web series written by my course seniors.

A Meet Cute script titled A Masked Connection I wrote with my friend... In honour of the pandemic. This is the final version I edited.

Story Pitching

An idea pitch for local entertainment programmes that I completed in a Year 2 module, but still hope to bring to the screen one day.

A summary of ideas that I came up with for our final year project pitch. I saw why they weren't promising enough while looking through my past school projects, so I spiced them up.

You ever had so many fantastical and exciting story ideas that you felt like you were bursting? Here are my latest ones that came when I was least expecting them.

PRODUCTION

My group filmed a scene from a comedy script Cheese Sausages in which I starred as Noelle, a studious and sweet girl. We edited the videos individually, and this is my final work.
